Thank you for your interest in membership in the Animal Reiki Alliance. The following membership opportunities are available with corresponding benefits:

Individual Members

Individual Members are individuals (often animal practitioners (veterinarians, vet techs, pet groomers, dog walkers, etc.) who may or may not be Animal Reiki Practitioners, but who are interested in learning more about the benefits of Animal Reiki and other alternative energy healing practitioners. Individual Members receive the following benefits:

1. Subscription to the ARA quarterly newsletter.
2. Opportunities for networking among alternative animal healing professionals.
   
3. Access to continuing education and professional development events.
   

Associate Members

Associate Members are individuals who are likely not an active Reiki Practitioner, but are energy healers working with animals and are interested in most of the benefits of the Practitioner Membership, including: opportunities for networking and professional development, as well as opportunities for advertising and promoting your business. Associate Members receive the same benefits as Individual Members, plus the following additional benefits:

1. Invitation to present at Animal Reiki Alliance sponsored educational workshops throughout the year and promote your business (e.g. World of Pets Expo Seminar).
2. Participation in meetings that offer professional development and networking opportunities.
3. Invitation to many volunteer opportunities throughout the year for members.
4. Opportunities to publish articles and case studies, distributed to animal professionals.

Practitioner Memberships

Practitioner Members are Reiki or other energy healing practitioners who are interested being listed among a highly respected Practitioner Directory, opportunities for networking and professional development, as well as opportunities for advertising and promoting your business. Practitioner Members receive the same benefits as the Associate Members, plus the following additional benefits:

1. The Animal Reiki Alliance will advertise in several publications each year and will coordinate with several member organizations to advertise each members businesses, e.g. Maryland Pet Gazette, Baltimore Dog, etc. (group advertising will depend upon the number of members each year).
2. 25 Animal Reiki brochures to use in your practice and you will have the option to order more (additional printing costs are applied after your first 25 brochures) or to customize with your organization's logo and contact information (additional fees apply).
   
3. Listing in the Animal Reiki Alliance online Practitioner Directory.
   

Reiki Teacher Membership

Reiki Teacher Members are Reiki Teachers, who are invited by the Animal Reiki Alliance. Reiki Teacher Members will be offered the opportunity to teach on behalf of the Animal Reiki Alliance at several events throughout the year. Reiki Teacher Members receive the same benefits as Practitioner Members, plus the following additional benefits:

1. Opportunities to teach all levels of Animal Reiki on behalf of the Animal Reiki Alliance.
2. Your organization's training events listed on the Animal Reiki Alliance website.
