Our Animal Reiki Trainers

Kathleen Lester, MS, CARPT, CCMT

Kathleen has worked in the training field for over 20 years, serving as Director of Training for the University of Maryland for over ten years. Kathleen has developed numerous training curricula, participant manuals and training materials, as well as managed a multi-agency training team. Kathleen's training style is to meet the participants where they are in the learning environment, while ensuring that the participants lean the class objectives and walk away with a clear understanding of Reiki for animals.

Kathleen has studied Reiki with three teachers: Kathleen Prasad, Animal Reiki Practitioner & Teacher/Founder Animal Reiki Source (www.animalreikisource.com); Tanja Anderson, MD, Reiki Master Teacher, Raphael Holistic Portal (www.raphaelholisticportal.com); and Suzanne Czemmel, RMT, KMT, ARMT. Kathleen received her Canine Massage Therapist (CMT) certification training from Brandenburg Massage Therapy in Ohio.

Kathleen is a member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals.

Kathleen is a practitioner member of the Shelter Animal Reiki Association (SARA).

Kathleen has developed the Animal Reiki Certification Practitioner Training and is currently working on creating new training manuals. Kathleen is the author of numerous articles and publications. Most recently, she published two articles on Animal Reiki: Reiki Healing for Animals by Kathleen Lester and Tuning Into Your Animal Companion Through Animal Communication and Reiki by Terri Diener and Kathleen Lester.
